Attend Meetings & Public Comment

In Person

Currently, public comment takes place at the beginning of the County Council Meetings. The time of the meeting will need to be confirmed at the link below.

To comment in person, please be present by the "Public Comment" portion of the agenda. The Chair will call for and direct public comment. Public comment will likely be limited to 2-3 minutes per person.

Virtually

Individuals wishing to watch virtually must access the meeting using the Webex link found on each agenda. Every Webex link is unique to each agenda. Historical and upcoming agendas are found at https://saltlakecounty.portal.civicclerk.com/.

To comment virtually, access the meeting using the Webex link on the agenda, and include "Resident" ahead of your first name when you join the meeting or you will not be identified as wanting to give a comment.

Public Comment is at the beginning of each Council Meeting. The first time you join via Webex, the setup process may take a few extra minutes. Plan accordingly to join on time.

By Email

If an individual is unable to attend the meeting, they may also email their comments by 10:00 AM the day of the meeting to have those comments distributed to the Council and read into the record at the appropriate time.
