New Construction Probable Cost Estimate

Use the “New Construction Project Probable Cost Estimate” form for new buildings, building replacements, building additions, or major renovations. These projects involve the pursuit of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification or the County’s High-performance Building Standard. These projects also involve major building system modifications – HVAC electrical, and plumbing. Typically, a design consultant and their team will be involved during the programming, design, bidding, construction, and warranty periods. Maintenance/Remodel Probable Cost Estimate

Use the “Maintenance/Remodel Project Probable Cost Estimate” form for small renovations, minor remodels, maintenance projects, energy studies and equipment replacement projects. These projects often involve a design professional, specialized consultant, facilities’ shops, or small project contractor. They typically involve one or more major building systems – HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. While these projects do not involve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, they may involve the County’s High-performance Building Standard.
