Set Up 2026 Prepayments

Apply to the Salt Lake County Treasurer’s Office special program that allows you to prepay your estimated property taxes in monthly installments during the year.

Electronic Options

Electronic Bank Account Withdrawal

Nine electronic bank account withdrawals can be set up using this calculation: Prior years’ tax amount/by 9 months = 9 monthly prepayments.  You will pay the remaining balance or have the option to authorize SLCo to make the final withdrawal for any remaining balance due on November 30.

Electronic withdrawals require banking and other information as listed below.

  • A voided check must be included with the application.
  • The check image must be no larger than 5mb in size.
  • Bank routing & account number
  • You choose to have your account charged on the 5th or 20th of the month (20th is the default if no selection is made)

Note: This application should only be completed using a PC or Mac (not a tablet or cellphone) using one of the following browsers: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.

Prepayment Application

Printed booklets will be mailed out to you by January.  Coupon amount will be your previous year's taxes divided by 9 months.  Other options include you choosing an amount to be printed on the coupon and there will also be a  blank place to fill in any amount you choose when you make your payment.  It will be your responsibility to pay the remaining balance.
